Valentin Leflaive
The Champagne house Valentin Leflaive represents a modern, terroir-driven style deeply rooted in the great traditions of Burgundy. Founded by Olivier Leflaive, whose family is among the most prestigious producers in Puligny-Montrachet, the house brings Burgundian precision into the world of Champagne.
Since 2015, a new chapter has been written in Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The ambition: to craft Champagnes inspired by fine Burgundy wines – focused on precision, terroir expression and uncompromising quality.
The portfolio is strongly driven by Chardonnay-based cuvées, sourced from renowned terroirs such as Cramant and Vertus. Each plot is vinified separately to preserve its unique identity and expression.
Champagnes from Valentin Leflaive are defined by freshness, minerality and precision, with a style reminiscent of great white Burgundy. Part of the wines are aged in former Burgundy oak barrels, adding depth and complexity.
A key feature is the innovative label code system:
- Letters indicate the terroir
- Numbers represent vintage and dosage
A Champagne house for those who value clarity, origin and finesse over opulence.
